All About Marvin Harrison

Marvin Harrison was born on August 25th, 1972, in Philadelphia, PA. He has been a wide receiver with the Indianapolis Colts for thirteen years. He has had an excellent career, with the exception of the injuries he has received over the last two years. Due to his injuries, his play time was affected, as well as his performance.

He is now a free agent. This is due to his denial of a pay cut and his refusal to sign a new contract with the Colts, after declining the one that was offered. As of now, there seems to be no sign of interest in the NFL when it comes to signing him. He had the highest salary for a wide receiver, making $13.4 million. However, due to his injuries and his high demand for pay, many speculate that these are some of the reasons that nobody has stepped up to sign him thus far.

He has had a good career and in 2008, he caught his 1,095th reception. He is also a 3 time Maxwell Award Winner. This somehow doesn't seem to be helping him now though. He is older now and more prone to injuries, and it is assumed that he really can't improve on his career any longer. It is not looking too promising for Harrison in this 2009 football season, according to reports and articles that have been written about him recently.
