Peyton Manning - A Remarkable Quarterback

Peyton Manning is truly one of the most talented athletes to ever play the game of football. Peyton comes from a natural football family. His Dad Archie, had a successful career as a quarterback for the NFL. He also has a younger brother Eli, who is a quarterback for the New York Giants of the NFC.

Peyton's football career started in high school, where he was the starting quarterback at (Isidore Newman High) for three years. He compiled an impressive 34-5 record during those three years.

Peyton was drafted in the first round of the 1998 football draft by the Indianapolis Colts. He not only set NFL rookie records, but he established himself as a force to be reckoned with for years to come.

During Peyton's storied career, he has set countless NFL records and has received many awards dating back to his football playing days in high school. Peyton holds five records as a rookie NFL quarterback, and also holds an extraordinary 52 franchise records for the Colts. Along with these amazing accomplishments, he holds seven playoff and seven Pro Bowl quarterback awards for the NFL.

Peyton's story doesn't stop here though. Peyton also has gotten involved in the media world, having hosted 'Saturday Night Live' and has appeared on several television commercials. Peyton has raised huge sums of money for charities and also his 'Peyback Foundation', a program for at-risk youth and the disadvantaged to help them achieve their goals.
