Reggie Wayne

The Indianapolis Colts have had one of the most prolific passing attacks in the NFL for years. One of the reasons for this is wide receiver Reggie Wayne.

Reggie started his career as a four year starter at the University of Miami, where he was not only a prolific receiver, but set school records as well. He had 173 career receptions and is one of three receivers to have more than 20 touchdowns in his career there. After four years there, where he started every game he played and graduated with a degree, it was time for Reggie’s next step in his career.

Reggie was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts with the 30th pick of the first round in the 2001 NFL draft. This had to be a dream come true for Reggie, to be paired with a sure future Hall Of Fame Quarterback in Peyton Manning and learn from the already established future Hall of Fame receiver Marvin Harrison. Reggie's stats have increased every year in the NFL, so that when the Colts had injuries to their receiving corps, he was ready to transform into one of the best receivers in the NFL. For the past couple of years, due to Marvin Harrison growing older and having injury problems, Reggie has become the go-to guy in the Colts' pass happy offense.

Now, while still at a relatively young age, Reggie continues to improve even though he is already one of the league's best receiver. It would appear that this is going to be a very good career for Reggie and the Indianapolis Colts couldn’t be happier.
