Reggie Wayne

Reggie Wayne is a 3 time Pro Bowl Wide Receiver drafted in the first round of the 2001 draft by Indianapolis Colts. Wayne played college football with the Miami Hurricanes from 1997 to 2000 where he set records in career receptions and is second in career receiving yards.

Wayne played college ball with Ed Reed of the Baltimore Ravens who was also his roommate, and also Santana Moss and Andre Johnson. He is also one of only 3 receivers to catch over twenty touchdowns at Miami, joining Michael Irvin and Lamar Thomas. Wayne also graduated with his degree in liberal arts.

Wayne was drafted to complement Marvin Harrison but he did not become a full time starter until the 2003 season. He played a big part in Payton Manning's record setting 49 touchdown passes in one season catching 12 of them himself in 2004.

In 2006 he earned a new contract worth 39.5 million dollars in a 6 year deal. Also in 2006 Wayne earned his first trip to the Pro Bowl and played in his first Super Bowl. Wayne played a big part in the victory over the Chicago Bears by scoring on a 53 yard pass in the first quarter of the game. In 2007 with both Marvin Harrison and Dallas Clark being out with injuries Wayne took the roll of being the number 1 receiver and set personal highs in receptions with 104 and receiving yards with 1510. With the release of Marvin Harrison on February 24th, 2009 Wayne is now the number one receiver for Payton Manning.
