Peyton Williams Manning is an NFL football player. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 24, 1976. He is the older brother of New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning. Peyton graduated from Tennessee College. He is in his 11th season of professional football, weighs 230 lbs and stands six feet five inches tall.
When Peyton played for Tennessee College, he nearly broke the school passing record and made himself a legend there. In 1997, he threw at least 300 yards for eight out of ten games. He passed 523 yards against Kentucky. Peyton completed 26 of 38 passes for 310 yards tying the college's single game record with five touchdowns in 52-17 win with Texas. He was Football News' All America and SEC Player of the Year. He was selected Phi Beta Kappa and graduated with a 3.61 GPA in speech communication with a minor in business. Now he is a graduate student in sport management.
He plays for the Indiana Colts football team. He is considered one of the most valuable players greatest quarterbacks. Peyton holds the top record for career passer rating for quarterbacks. He has the highest career passing yards and passing touchdowns for the Colts. Peyton assisted in leading the Colts to the Superbowl XLI victory in 2006. He has yet to throw fewer than 26 touchdowns and at least one 4,000 yard pass. He is an all American NFL football player who has earned every statistic he has.
