Reginald "Reggie" Wayne was born November 17, 1978 in New Orleans, Louisiana has made a name for his self as wide receiver for the the Indianapolis Colts. He has done well in is eight year career in the NFL. However, he is more than wide receiver with great stats. He is a man that allows his status as a celebrity to reach back and give back into the communities.
In 2006, he purchased tickets in lot form of 20 and gave them out to the youth in the community so that they would be able to have the memories and experience of going to a real live NFL game. Reggie endorsed a 3-A-Day dairy campaign for the 2006 and 2007 season, for Dairy Management, Inc.
Reggie is also more than willing to help out fellow players and their charities. He gives a helping hand wherever it may be needed. As of July of this year, he is a part of the Amp Harris/Reggie Wayne Celebrity Basketball game. This game takes place every year at the Indiana Black Expo. In August, Reggie helped out teammate Peyton Manning with his charity with the PeyBack Bowl. Reggie, had the highest score.
Reggie Wayne is far more than a football player. He is a man that has touched many with his acts of kindness and generosity that will be remembered by so many. He is a record breaking wide receiver but he is also a man with a heart that chose to do something with his fame and help out in the community.
